A Healthy New Web Presence for Bishopton Vets
Bishopton Vets in Ripon are one of the leading veterinary practices in Yorkshire and they specialise in the care and treatment of all animals great and small. This week sees the launch of their new website which now provides a wealth of information, and details on the services and facilities that they provide.
With the web design of Bishopton Vets, there were many aspects that needed to be covered within the one website and it needed to reflect the various services that they offer to the different animal sectors. You may think that Bishopton Vets is just where you take your sick dog or cat, but their services are much more far reaching. A big proportion of their business comes from the Farm Services, Pig Consultancy and Equine, so the website needed to reflect these sectors equally. One way that we have brought in the different animals that they look after is by using the "slider” on the home page. Each slide leads into the corresponding sections for an easy entry point.
The core of the website is built around the information that you may need if you came to the site such as contact details, location, the team, surgery hours and emergency info. This is all in The Practice section. The site then splits off when we reach Services as each division has a different team of vets, specialism and facilities.
The site includes additional functionality so that the latest News can be easily added to the site, plus visitors will be able to download the latest Newsletter or download Factsheets that may be relevant to their animals. Over time the number of Factsheets will grow as will the News. The great thing about the functionality of the site is that the administrative backend of the site is really easy to use, so that anyone within the practice can log on and add a News item or upload a Factsheet.
