Castle Computers Launch New Website
Castle Computers, who are a leading supplier of new and refurbished IT equipment and tape drives, based in Reading, have launched two new websites giving their company a fresh new look.
Castle Computers are a long established customer of Bronco . Their old websites had been developed over the years to give extra functionality to their customers, but they hadn't been through a redesign during that time.
Websites can date quite quickly and we normally recommend a redesign every couple of years to freshen up the company image online, as technologies move on. It was great for the team at Bronco to see the transformation to the Castle Computers company website as well as their online shop Tape Drives.
The redesign meant that the company logos were updated as well as the whole style and feel of the website. The websites that Castle previously had were seperated out and a clear division was drawn between the Company website which focuses on their services including tape drive repair and onsite support, and then the Tape Drives site (Shop) concentrates on their main product lines.
The Tape Drives site went through the biggest overhaul and brought their four product ranges, Tape Drives, UPS's, Networking and Spares into one site. These previously had been on seperate domains.
Since Castle have a very large stock database the products had previously only been able to be bought after an electronic quote was gained through the old site or over the phone. We have now introduced a system whereby Castle can add Special Offers and Best Seller products to the site which have pricing and are ready to buy. Through the new Tape Drives site you can now buy directly online as we built a full ecommerce system for them.
