Storm in a Teacup Phase III
What is great when building websites is when you can see a clients business contining to grow which enables us to develop new elements for their online presence. Storm in a Teacup in Ripon has done just this.
We have recently completed Phase III on the Storm in a Teacup website. Initially the site was built to be an informative website about the unique gift shop that Emma Warner-Reed owns. The second phase was to implement an ecommerce backend to the site that would allow for the management of products. The second phase did not require for any online payment to be taken as it just was a order form function.
Now that the business is growing and Emma prepares to move to larger premises, the Storm in a Teacup website needed more functionality. The new section of the website now allows Emma to display her latest special offers. We also built a news plugin for her to write her own news about the latest products and where Storm in a Teacup will be exhibiting. There are also articles that can be downloaded from the site. We have also ungraded the ecommerce section of the site to allow payment to be taken securely on line which is a great benefit for people ordering.
All in all each time we add something to the site it compliments what is already there as well as helping the business to grow.
